“Web 2.0″ might be one of the most over used terms of the last few years.  It is right up there with blogoshere, netiquette, and vlog as some of the words most likely to make the hair stand up on the back of my neck.  But like it or not Web 2.0 refers to websites that are highly interactive, and more and more, offer some pretty amazing online services.

There a couple directories of Web 2.0 sites out there, but this one is my favourite.  GoWeb2.0is a very comprehensive listing to be sure, but it also has a pretty slick interface itself.  GoWeb has sites listed in various categories, and gives a nice concise description of the site.  You’ll probably be surprised at some of the types of sites available.  From niche social networking, to image editing, to cell phone podcasting, the online options we have access to is pretty amazing.

Using GoWeb2.0, you’re sure to find something that will spark your (and your student’s) imagination.
